Anyone remember Jam in the Dam?

Their website is still active, although they havent had an event since 2012. With airline prices as low as theyve been in years, I was hoping they would re-start this wonderful festival. I went twice, in 2007 and last in 2010. Held at the legendary Melkweg, the jam featured some very talented performers, like Umphreys, Yonder, Moe, Les Claypool, etc. I remember catching Tea Leaf Green there... (remember those guys) as well as the Disco Biscuits, Lotus, New Mastersounds.. With Bender ( John Dimaggio ) as the MC, it was one of the more unique musical events. I dont think Ill ever forget stumbling out of that place and heading down the street to gorge myself on FEBO after the shows :) I started thinking about this again the other day, as I am headed back to Amsterdam for the first time in 8 years this november. I hope something is going on in the city while I am there during thanksgiving, but it seems european tours arent as convenient as they used to be. Actually, I would be open to some suggestions of what else to do in that great city other than the obvious, or worthwhile trips to take from it.
