Anyone recognize this?

Does anyone know what these are?

1) t-shirt I found in my mom's closet after she left this world.  I know she had never been to a show...anyone know the year?  IMG_4746.JPG

I found it amusing that the show was obviously in Connecticut, yet it has the image of the Old Man on the Mountain in NH, as well as, perhaps...the Connecticut river, which  separates NH and VT.

Wow weird

I'd bet that shirt would fetch a hundred or more on eBay.

UCONN student print. The GD never played at UCONN, other schools in CT but not UCONN.

I also noticed that.

Are you scratching your head as to why it was in her closet? Maybe it was an intended present for you that got lost in the shuffle years ago.

I remember seeing the old man while on ski trips back in the day.  It was a shocker when it collapsed.

It did disappoint a lot of people, true.  Made one aware of mortality, oddly.  But I think the erosion was expected.  We used to joke about how many face-lifts they'd given the mountain, watching the wires changing status.

There was a transfer station in our town, where you could shuffle through selected donations ~ a way of reusing/recycling.   I suspect this is where she retrieved this t-shirt.  It was bittersweet finding it a the time ~ the discussion that could have ensued....

Homemade lot shirts were so much fun, some made perfect sence, some none at all. Always one of the best parts of going.
