As predicted, festivals and tours are bumping dates further back into 2021. The reality is that indoor shows will only exist on a very limited scale until 2022 now. This shit isn't going away any time soon. Considering the age demographic of this board, some of us have seen our final shows. That's a sobering thought.
As to not be all doom and gloom, some new venues are on tap to open up soon with social distancing in mind. Rooms that could easily handle 800 people in a GA format will be maxed out at distanced tables with under 100 seats so those who are able should be able to get an occasional fix. Of course one drawback to that is that ticket prices will be higher in order to make it economicallhy feasable for performers and venues to make a buck.
Sigh.

Indeed. Concerts are now pretty much for the privileged wealthy.

In some ways, yes. In other ways, no. Of course the biggest reason that ticket prices have gotten out of reach for many is that almost nobody buys music anymore. When I buy CDs these days most people look at me like I'm some sort of freak (ok...maybe they are correct). I know many love streaming services but until they pay artist more than a pittance, ticket prices, COVID or not, will continue to rise. I can't blame people for trying to make a living from music. It's a lot harder than most people realize. Even well known and popular performers work around the clock to pull it off.

It's never going away, Everyone should be very scared. Even if they do find a cure, it's still not safe. The only way to keep living is to stay in your home forever.

i dont think im ever going to go to shows again and drop borderline psychotic amounts of LSD, take untested black market chinese research chemicals, or pass out on the concrete from nitrous again until i know its 100% safe.

the orange stamped tylenol
i always tried to get the types of chems people would pass off as mescaline, but properly labeled as whatever chemical it actually is...2C-x, 2C-T-x, DOx etc...most of these are much more dangerous than mesc or L in large doses but in reasonable, properly measured(with mg scale) doses they are really not that crazy. many of them are harder on the body in general, so you have more body load and hangover, and many of them just are not nearly as awesome as L or mesc, but theres a small handful that come pretty close and dont present any more danger than your standard psychedelics if bought from a truested source, subjected to reagent testing, and properly measured/dosed by mg/kg of body weight. only ones id reccomend staying away from are the NBOMe series of chems...its very rare but people have been known to just straight up mysteriously die on normal, average doses...even people who had used it in the past w no problems...even today idk if people really knows what causes it. i used 25i-NBOMe once, at the last furthur shoreline show...it was good fun but nothing special like L, mushrooms or shulgins magical half dozen. a few months later the mysterious death reports starting coming in and i relegated that drug to the "have it for collection purposes but will never use" along with my MDPV and PCP
id reccomend 2cb or bk-MDMA/methylone to any psychedelic enthusiast on any day, would very strongly recommend 2c-e for more hardcore travelers without any serious preexisting health problems. i also enjoyed 4-MMC/mephedrone, the original chemical behind "bath salts" quite a bit, but its fairly compulsive and terrible for your heart and circulatory system...worth a try 100% but not something anyone should use more than a handful of times in their lives.
at the end of the day tho, nothing beats L. 2c-e is still in the toolkit since it is just so wildly absurd and intense, but pretty much everything else is packed away as a kind of mind bending stamp collection i collected from all over the world when i was in my early 20s

2C's are just fireworks for your eyes without the trip. Also ends much more quickly. If you have ever wondered what it was like to jam an ice pick up your nose snort sum. Apples and Oranges. Each have their place.

Bonnaroo pushed it's dates back a few days ago. Off the top of my head, Bob Mould announced today postponement to late 2021,. Others are escaping me right now but I'm sure I will remember them shortly. I also know of a few upcoming announcements but will let the announcements be made by the parties involved within a week. Lots of moving parts to reschedule stuff...again.
