No, not Seattle, Minneapolis, New York City, Washington D.C. or any of those cities. Anarchy in the U.K. Micheal Des Barres recently released an interesting cover of the Sex Pistols song that is nothing at all like the original. I first heard it a few weeks ago and it did not compute with my musical ears and brain but upon many listens, I find it a very unique and enjoyable cover version. I also find it somewhat ironic that that it took the 26th Marquis Des Barres (yep, honest to god British royalty) to attempt to do a cover that goes in a totally different direction.

The opening bars had me thinking Rocky Horror's Science Fiction Double Feature, then as it got into it I wouldn't have been surprised if Darlene Love or Ronnie Spector would have started singing. I seem to like it more and more with each listen.
