4 guitarists? do ross and graham realize that phil is bringing in law and krasno b/c they both lack the skill to carry the band themselves?

sad state of affairs in the phil camp. pretty funny tho, ross and graham can't play or sing, go figure. also when does the dishwasher go back to working at the nissan dealership across from TXR? dude can't play drums for shit.

happy new year!

I think Grahams singing / playing has come a long ways...    and while folks complain at being "bar level talent", perhaps they should do a large "bar band" tour, since that's how we attain that next level musically; practice, time, and exposure (to other players / places / sounds / etc).  A toast to Phil for having a decent band to call his own, and being able to play with them in his own living room (so to speak).   I'll still be looking forward to the times he's with fellow legends and virtuosos, but I like the family band, even with a few "stunt" guitarists, lol

(oh, I'd be glad to play bass since Phil doesn't "tour" anymore)

Going to the Feb. Phil PDX shows?

Gotta say the band with Krasno and Law is not the TFB.  I bet the show was really good.

Reviews?

thought lettuce was in nyc tonite? so no krasno w/ phil  tonite??

I don't think Krasno plays with Lettuce any more.

^^^^Apparently he shows up when he wants to. Not a bad arrangement, but don't go to Letttuce and expect Krasno is the bottom line. Eric is a really chill dude btw, always enjoy chatting with him.

that explains it then.

Gotta tell ya I listened to  some of this and it is exactly like I thought it would be and I could not get in to it. I recently rated the TFB a flat line 5 on the 1-10 scale but I found my interest even with this good quality recording a lowly 3. Now having said that the band is pretty tight and they can jam.

Glad Phil is again doing shows at  TXR with some old friends and hoping they stream it.

Hell yeah Phil!

^is that a compliment or a way of justifying spending money on the bland when they are near you?

You mean Hawaii?

>When is the Furthur reunion tour?

I'd go see Dead co if Russo was the only drummer/percussionist.

>>>>>spending money on the bland

Lol.

Jeez. Only thing worse than 3 crappy guitarists on a stage playing together is four crappy guitarists on a stage together.

Well, two of them are pretty good. It actually sounds decent. They didn't get in each others' way too often.
