Allman Brothers Revival at the Fillmore 12-7-19

Forums:

Absolutely a ripping show at the Fillmore last night in honor of the Allman Brothers on Greg Allman's birthday. This is the third year in a row for this tribute and last night's show was stellar and a fitting tribute to the stalwarts of Southern blues.

The show featured the Allman-Betts Band with special guests:
Luther & Cody Dickenson, Todd Park Mohr, Eric Krasno, Robert Randolph, G. Love, Jimmy Hall, Lamar Williams, Ally Venable, Alex Orbison, Lilly Hiatt, Samantha Fish, Jimmy Vivino, Eric McFadden, Brandon “Taz” Niederauer, Asher Belsky, Robin Zander

The only thing that struck me as odd was having Robin Zander throwing in a few Cheap trick tunes LOL!

I went last night in Denver. Almost the same set list. The Cheap Trick stuff was a big question mark. Fun time. I was disappointed that over the past 4 to 5 years Taz has shown little growth as a guitarist. He has gotten better at his guitar face. He might be getting tips from Mayer.

thx !!
