AC/DC

Forums:

Have them on the turntable this lazy solstice day.  Most bad ass rock n roll band of all time. Seen around a thousand shows and still in my top five.

I saw them this past summer from the rail in Tampa, blown away by how good they still are. Gonna see em

again this year now too lol. Had no idea they were still so good live

Saw them in Philly in '80 for "The Back in Black" tour. Humble Pie opened. Awesome nite.

I remember seeing them warm up for Aerosmith at the Long Beach arena in 78 (first time touring the states), they blew Aerosmith right off the stage, lol.

My 2nd encounter was with Nantucket, at a gas station just outside of Houston in 1980.  They were warming up for AC/DC on their first US headlining tour.  Some of the Nantucket band members were hitting us up for weed, but we'd been on the road for a month, and were heading home to LA.  I played a little guitar for them, and we hung out for a while w/ the rest of the crew (they were traveling w/ the gear, AC/DC had a learjet for that tour, lol).

Yeah saw Styx blow Aerosmith off the stage in 78. I think that may have been more of a 78 Aerosmith thing, but no shade on AC/DC
