There is ver very limited supply in the USA

popular brand , not for me but middle of the road popular.
Not a single residential system in the entire country for another 23-24 weeks
I sell a system, call my suppliers and there is a 30% chance I can get it within a week
I'm waiting for warranty coils and compressors , units that are 2 years old, up to 11 weeks in some cases.

We just had a Goodman Factory set up shop here in Clermont.
windows in my new home were on back order for the past month, and went in today. The super told me a couple weeks ago AC would be the next hurdle. I am just glad they did not put plywood up instead of windows and continued dry walling like they are in other areas of Florida because of the window shortage

To be honest with you, It's all kinda crappy one way or another.
Ameristar which is American Standards off brand is a Sherman Tank. Install 116 of them and had 5 service calls
Sure can't say that with any other brand
Don't go any higher than 16/17 SEER unless you have good solid steady electricity
Right now our 240 volts from FPL our power company is fluctuating between 224-262 volts
What does that mean Mr acid eater?
For 3 months now anything with electricity is frying and in weird ways. Like fan blades flying off of motors to compressors burning out right in front of your eyes.
Oh but it keeps you in business! Find me someone who is sober or vaccinated ad I will hire em.
