$94 guitar scam

Forums:

Ads are popping up on Facebook purporting to be selling all sorts of high quality guitars for $94:

According to the ad, the owner of the shop disappeared so the employees are selling the guitars at bargain basement prices to make payroll (technically, that's embezzlement and theft).

I assume this is a scam, but wondering why FB isn't blocking this.  I am sure some people have been suckered out of $94 or worse, their credit card numbers.

Exact same thing with the exact same price is happening for drums. Total scam.

My last email from Taylor actually mentioned $99 guitars.  I assumed it was some sort of starter package.

If you're interested in actual decent deals, here's a legitimate site from Germany with all sorts of well-made replicas (Les Pauls, Strats, etc...), I got a really cool paisley Rickenbacker copy for a great price. DISCLAIMER: I am not associated with this company.

It is surprising that facebook doesn't deal with this, but then who knows what facebook is ever thinking about.

Exact same site. Total scam.

Maybe it's $94 for the guitar and $2K for shipping and handling.

I ordered one of the 94$ guitars.  It never came. Instead they shipped me a bulk order of MAGA hats direct from China.

Big time SCAM - and it's been around for months.

So my $98.00 D-35 is not really on the way ??

Darn it angry
