5/8/77 Morning Dew

Forums:

We have all heard this show and some in this group probably were at the show. This guy Jamel was introduced to the Grateful Dead from making reaction videos. His reaction to this version is great. He gets it.  This song and particularly this version brings tears to my eyes every time.  Enjoy your day!

^ Nice.. I saw a suggested video for this guy a few weeks back and wasn't sure what it was and didn't check it out.

I really enjoyed that-  I've never really watched reaction videos- think I'm into this for the subject matter.  This guy does get it.

"Ouuuuu Jerry taking us to church!"

His vibing through the song is consistent with mine where in the span of a few seconds I'll play air guitar, drums and twirling hand gestures hahaa.

That's a good un alright

Seen that guy before. A lot of African Americans are doing that now. It seems they critique a lot of the same bands. I guess it's an easy way to bank some cash during Covid times.

The first one of these I watched in its entirety. I'm really glad he wore headphones.... the music blew his mind. (I was getting chills too, just listening.)

I like how he grasped the idea of the song and related it to modern times (pandemic lockdown) before he checked the computer and matched it to atomic apocalypse.

He does a good job.

"Jerry is sangin sangin"

13:55 and 14:50 are good moments.

"It's like when Mario get's that star - everybody get outta the way"

The other guy who does a lot of Dead is Micheal Palmisano

He's gone from someone who never heard of the Dead

to someone who's life has been changed by them

there was a recent Jamal episode where he names his top however many favorite bands he's reacted to.

#1 Rush

#2 Grateful Dead

look for him at upcoming Dead & Co shows.

He did the Velvet Underground's Heroin the other day.

Those people. You sound racist, Doolittle.

Crying after the first two notes

No regrets
No apologies

Only being blessed

just sent link and text  to my family

I watched a couple other videos of his today. This dude makes me laugh.

Jamal is okay. This guy is hilarious, and he's worthy of his hundred thousand or so subscribers. Freebird: https://youtu.be/VGTaA6d3BXQ

Even my wife enjoyed that. Thanks for posting
