Lot's of great pics out there.

I realize that the band was evolving in a different direction even before he passed, but there would never have been a Grateful Dead as we know them without him. I often feel now that he was/is under appreciated and underrated both as a musician/songwriter/performer. I'm surprised there isn't, and I wish there was more material written about him. Too many of his era died too early or are now gone with firsthand information/stories about him. Hope someone does something extensive before everyone associated with him is gone. In my opinion he was a fascinating character. I Love the rawness of the 68-71 period. I was fortunate to see him before the Europe 72 tour and wish I had seen him more. RIP Pigpen.
