The band played 3 songs with "10,000" in the lyrics (Greatest, Jack-a-Roe, Samson).

Our summer tour included Louisville, Buffalo, Deer Creek, and Tinley Park. RIP Brent. heart

Was informed of a friend's death during the show.

What a great day and a solid show. The band was firing on all cylinders. First time I saw the Eyes>Estimated in the reverse position from usual. The show was opened by Crosby Stills & Nash who also had a great performance that day. The buzz on the news was that at 12:34 and 56 seconds the time and date would line up to 12:34:56 7-8-90, so theres that weird little factoid and cosmic coincidence. We were in traffic waiting to get into the lot at the time so it turned out to be not that special, lol. Before the show we saw someone have a meltdown from too much L, he came over to our group, sat on the ground rocking back and forth and kept yelling "do you realize!... do you realize!... do you realize!..." We tried to calm him down but he kept yelling "do you realize..." A couple dudes in the lot kept messing with him thinking it was funny, and eventually he freaked out, got up, and ran down the lot and crashed into another group of tailgaters like he didnt even see them. We ran after him and one of those he crashed into and knocked over was ready to beat the crap out of him until we explained that he must be dosed out of his gourd. Calmer heads prevailed. Someone had alerted security and we held on to him trying to talk him down until shortly after an ambulance came and carted him away. I always wondered what happened to that guy.

great show.

Good Show! I missed this one but did see Bonner Springs, Deer Creek, and Tinley Park. DEDHED, we had a similar run-in with a guy in Kansas who clearly had too much too fast as well. He kept repeating, "I was pretty smart though!" as he seemed to be melting down right there in front of us. He was a goner and eventually took a ride in an ambulence as well. I often wondered how he fared too but think he would have been better off wandering the lot for a couple more hours instead of the bright lights and getting probed and prodded by paramedics and cops at a hospital.

Funny weird hillbilly cop stories from that lot...and getting pulled over on the interstate afterwards too. Our buddy (driver) was never very organized and when he fished out his license, along with whatever else was in his front pocket, he dumped a bunch of loose "paper" into the trooper's hand as well. Cop must have felt sympathetic to my scatter-brained friend (and somehow unaware of where we were coming from) and just gave it all back and said "be more careful out there." Good Times.

Top 5  day of my life
