This 4th Of July Weekend, this collection of Pro-Shot Video Streams should be great up on your Big Screen TV all weekend. They are streaming 29 Years of highlights from arguably the best West Coast Music Festival. I attended twice and it was pretty epic!

Thanks for the heads up!

It really is the best fest in the west.

Thanks for the heads up.

I stumbled onto this fest on the way to a hot springs in 93 when Zero and Radiators were featured. I don't even think I had a ticket or tent.

Last one I did was 2008 and had the rental rv thing down by that time. Yay air conditioning!

The 98 / 99 years were epic. Used to be two High Sierras - one on July 4th, another on Labor day. (One year there was still snow on the ground on July 4th in Bear Valley.)

Had some amazing life altering experience with loads of friends during those intervening years -- and the music was pretty good, too.

At one point I was supplying the decorations for the late night sheds --- used to cover all the walls with all this trippy holographic foil. Good times.

Wow. Talk about a mind melt of years and tears looking at those schedules.

I was wrong about it being Video Streams. Audio Only...

All we need is music, sweet music...heart

The 98 / 99 years were epic.<<<<

Yes, both of these years were mucho great. High times.

In '98 I met Fred Savage from The Wonder Years over at The Lodge and pitched him on my script about a suicidal tollbooth operator. I couldn't seem to get across the point that it was a comedy. A very black comedy sure but a comedy nonetheless. He may have tried to run away from me at one point. It's kinda' blurry.

Driving all nite from Portland GD '85  early in the am we pulled into a "manned" toll both on the Merritt parkway waking up the toll taker. Then we payed in exact change. I think he was close to suicidal... ha

>>> we pulled into a "manned" toll both<<<

ExCUSE me! That would be a STAFFED toll booth, not a MANNED toll booth!!!

In the town you live in bub, if you say something is MANNED you might get yourself lynched.

the story losses it's oomphh when PC...ha

Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band on rn

lay back baby

Nice. Finally looked at the line-up, Sets for 24hrs!...

Sugaree ! Merl !

Damn that Del set was great.

His band is so good, and IMO they demonstrate how bluegrass without fiddle is like a hot dog without mustard.

And yeah WALSTIB, I made that mistake once in front of the wrong person and it took two months for my eyebrows to grow back.

I've never made that mistake again.

Wasn't it though? I love that band!

dr John up next

Wow... what a packed and eclectic lineup, running continuously thru Sunday

I see that they're airing DNB's 1998 appearance on Saturday at 1 pm PST laugh

So, it appears that I got the Time Zones Bass Ackwards. Here's what East Coasters should be doing:

.(**I believe all the times listed are 3 hours LATER than East Coast time (EDT) , so just ADD 3 hours to the times listed to view your favorite Artists here on the East Coast....

Robert Earl Keen jr starting now

1. Jesse With the Long Hair

this song was “brand new” in 1993, it’s one of my favorites. It’s aged very well.

2. Front Porch Song (co-written with Lyle Lovett)

Jorma's on now.

Don't hesitate...

JJ cale on now

Sam Bush was asked what his favorite "Jerry" song was. "Jerry Douglas?" he asked. Said it was St Stephen. Treat to hear JJ. Thanks for the head's up DJ EW.

Thanks for the Link !  KVMR stream works very well here.

Steve Winwood with Karl Denson: Low Spark

Nice!

Glad y'all are digging...   heart

Carolyn about to kick some bootie.

Great looking schedule today, but this is a pretty rare and interesting back-to-back:

The Gourds with Doug Sahm (1998) at 1:00

NRBQ from 1993 (yes, still with big al) at 1:40

Yeah. Got up too late to catch that. Bummed.
