21 Years? No way.

The Q ..... Old Enough to Drink.

Old enough to drink in the nostalgia.

Meltdown city. What a run.

I was never a huge fan of the Maritime, except for this run. Being in that old union hall, with this band, you could feel the faint vibrations of 1967. A Celestine Prophesy type of connection.

My first and only time at the Maritime Hall.  A bit worse for wear and tear and the bathrooms were down right frightening.   I believe it was condemned or closed down soon after that run but not really sure?. The shows were full of energy and surpassed my high expectations. The 2/18 set list is very creative if not a throwback type and the playing itself is arguably one of there best. Takes up 3 CD's

Best Q run ever and 2/18/01 Best Q show ever.

I will add that I can't believe its been 10 years since Broomfield Almost Q shows- Those were good shows especially 2/18/12

<<<<<<<<<.  Those were good shows especially 2/18/12   >>>>>>>>>

Rumors floating all over that the 2/18/12 show was a tribute show to the Ginormus 2/12/01 show.  You could almost feel it in the air. heart

The life of the Q was an  amazing period of time in GD music history!

Herring is incredible this whole run.  Especially 2/18.  Great stuff.

IMO , this was the best post-GD ever.  followed closely by the 11/01 PLQ run

phil offered the goods ! ....damn, i was zoning  in my 20s then :)

I walked out of the Sunday show saying that I no longer regretted not seeing the early GD. 2/18 has it all.

its just all seemed so fluid

No doubt, frank. On Sunday, there were a bunch of freaks smoking DMT up in the balcony all night. I always thought that had something to do with it.
