Most companies now require
Most companies now require the applicant to pay the drug test fee. If you pass, you get the money back. If not, the company is not out a thing.

Fucking Reagan. This is
Fucking Reagan. This is pretty important stuff. I think companies that drug test are getting sick of the cost. 3 billion dollar industry! Fuck that! I hope
I know a person who was addicted to heroin. Good man, wrong road. Well he started methadone treatment. It was touch and go. Then he got a job at Whole Foods (on the list). He worked his way up to manager and eventually stopped the methadone, got married and settled down with a nice job. All he needed was a chance to work, to feel good about things and that helped him stay clean and thrive. I'd hate to think were he would be if he did not have a chance to work.
Ive also seen people with masters degrees, killer resumes, go through 3 interviews, get an offer "pending drug screen" then be denied the job! That is just wrong.

Had an interview long ago and quickly decided I did not want the job
INTERVIEWER: We would need to do a drug test. Is that a problem.
ME: No problem at all. Will you tell me if I win high score?
Look on his face before ending the interview: Priceless!

I've applied to a couple jobs
I've applied to a couple jobs I didn't want just to fail the drug test and cost the company money. This was easy with McDonald's.
Fuck them and their piss cup.
