FOR YOUR

MVP CONSIDERATION

SO EXCITED FOR SATURNDAY

It's so fun to be a true fan of a sports team, and maybe especially a major league team.

The glory, the excitement, the quality, the art.

It's fucking amazing.

People that don't get it, I feel sorry for them.

They say, "WHY do you care??? Why do you care about a bunch of multi-millionaire players, playing for some random team???"

And then there's the Seinfeld take... "In this age of players changing teams all the time, you're just rooting for clothes."

Well, yes. But beyond the fact that it's a good thing that now, like the rest of us, professional athletes are allowed to work for the organization they want, being a fan has ALWAYS been about "rooting for clothes".

Because the best part of being a fan is truly caring about a team. Players come & go, it's always about the TEAM.

Those that don't get it, well, like everything to do with true love, it's irrational... not explainable.

But we understand, don't we?

So good luck to all who care about their team.

(Go Warriors!)

Embiid is the most dominant player in the league. Should be the MVP.

Harris is having a great series. He's been criticized much of the year, but really has come up big on both sides of the ball.

Maxey is as much fun to root for as he is to watch.

Harden's passing and court vision is phenomenal.

Nick Nurse is a gracious winner, but is a terrible loser.

((((Derek Jeter))))

Folks at the game were talking smack about Hardon.

I agree with the local tv announcers; he's the Field General
