‘Schitt’s Creek’ Fans Arrive in Goodwood

Forums:

Today I learned fans of Schitt's Creek call themselves Schittheads.

I am a Schitthead. Haven't done the pilgrimage to Goodwood though.Great show. Great characters, great writing. All the awards they won were well earned and deserved.

Wasn't the hotel bought or it's up for sale or something?

Show started out excellent but kinda got a lil soft the last season or so. The baseball game episode is a funny  episode imho. A little bit Alexis also

We used to take our kids to Goodwood for go-karting, and found a little bakery (Annina's) in town that we still hit whenever we're in the area.

Couple shots I took from the lot at Annina's in April of this year. It's not the only corner in Goodwood - but real damn close. There is a black SUV in both pictures to show how far the Apothecary store was from the Tropical restaurant in "real life"...

And of course, the go kart track located a couple minutes away (our then 8 year old on his first go round)...

I've never been compelled to visit a show location because of a program but it's a cool connection when it happens for other reasons

I bagged SC after about four-five episodes.  Wasn't like I didn't like it, but I definitely didn't love it.  It just felt like I'd seen all these characters before and, sure enough, they were all predictable.

Even the chick who plays everything deadpan (you know, the sole likable character) felt like she was lifted straight out of some other show I'd rather watch.

I think my expectations of E. Levy and O'Hara may have been too high.

Not to mention the one note Chris Elliot has made a career of playing.

I may get back to it but if I do it's gonna be one of those shows I always "watch" with guitar in hand.  Which will raise the question:  "Is what I missed worth rewinding for?"
