Thanks all for the Well wishes. Been working quite a bit lately. Lots of Firewood demand when it's cold.
Hüsky has not been with the sled-dog crew yet, as the "Trail Boss" from that club has been working 6-7 day weeks. Last weekend it was too much snow for the gigs but not enough for sleds.
So we go Biking and I let H.I.M. run around at dog park. He met a new bitch there the other day, "Laura" a Siberian / Golden Retriever cross. Looks like a random mutt / mixed-breed but has the crazy slanty eyes and all the hyperactive energy. Apparently the serious sled-dawg folks like that breed because the Labrador genetics make them not shy about crossing the icy rivers.
Mt.Driscol 602 ft and highest elevation in the state is close. Leave yesterday. Get here today. Bring Mush gear and Huxley..Four inches in the valley and more at higher elevations. Five inches.im sure at four hundred '
