I probs missed some stuff, so let me know how you scored it.
per jrad facebook it was just a communication issue between the band and venue - although you would think a venue like red rocks would assume taping is ok for a band playing GD songs. soundboard and proshot vids will likely be up on archive/youtube shortly...with this band, and i hate to say it, but with this band taping is kind of a nostalgic pasttime...most of their shows are up on archive in sbd quality with pro shot segments on their youtube, and rips of the pro shot stream circulating freely. there have been some shows where a taper has saved the day and put up a show we otherwise would not have gotten for months, as they can be slow getting shows up, but in general jrad is really good about freely sharing high quality concert tapes and footage themselves.
Sounded very nice here on Sofa Tour. They are really raging it as an ensemble; sounds fresh & wild yet precise. Most exciting GD cover / exploration since early 2000's PLQ.
I don't understand the teases thing either. Personally having heard this band I don't even see why they even play songs, I would love to see them just make stuff up on the fly, then I would custie up
Hope everyone had a great time at Phish Dicks this year! I see they played Antelope on Saturday, that's one I was hoping to catch at MSG but it was played a different day.
Can't wait!!!
