My weight fluctuates a lot. When I hit 290 I know I have to loose it. I cut out carbs. Pasta, taters, rice and sweets are no real problems for me. I'm not a sweet tooth and I drink 4 sodas a year and even less with beer.
My problem is bread.
Never met a bread I did not like. Hot, cold, toasted buttered, not buttered I don't care I love it.
I cut out the carbs and the weight falls off of me. I started on July 24th and I lost 22 pounds already. I stopped carbs and started eating breakfast (special K) and nothing after 8pm.
I will drop to 250 and feel great and fall off the bread wagon and be good for about 2 years and do this all over again. Been doing this starting when I was 25 or so. I know it's not healthy but fuck I love bread.
Bread is everywhere.

The darker the bread the better for you, but no bread is good if you are looking at the carbs.
We have a bakery between my house and my shop and It takes a lot not to stop in. It bakes for a bunch of resturaunts and such for the whole county and the smells start at 4 or 5 in the morning till noon. Fuckers should be shot for poluting my air waves.

I have been on a liquid diet
I have been on a liquid diet now for 2 months, clear liquids only. I cheated a few times and had a egg. I lost 40 lbs feel pretty good, been walking 2 miles a day, still miss food, mmmmm pizza. I think it was caused from my radiation treatments in March. Been to a few Dr's, flunked a few upper G.I. tests. I was told I have a conditioned called https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achalasia. I love breads all kinds of breads. My sister called me the Pillsbury Dough Boy growing up.
Weed & breads are my vices, I don't drink..
Which sucks as I have had some major oral surgeries over the last year and dropped 30 pounds by not eating my breads. 1987 touring weight/loook and feel great, from cutting out the breads and being exerxiced.
I am just starting to be able to eat again this week. My Dr said to eat a little more. So I bought a loaf of Italian Bread, a loaf of Sourdough Bread, and a Cannoli Cake for good measure.
Ate like pig Tuesday and was sick that night and all of yesterday. Ate a little of the Sourdough today and my mouth still hurts. Going slow down eating and keep the weight off.

I cut out the carbs and dropped 16, but then held steady. Then someone told me the gator aid I drink is loaded with carbs. I drink 3-4 32 oz bottles of the g2 red stuff a day. Gave that up about a week ago and have been drinking water with lemon mostly.

Last year I went to a naturopath, and she told me to cut out eggs, dairy and wheat.
I don't eat a ton of eggs anyway, and I sure as hell won't give up mayo. Dairy is limited to a little cheese here and there, and a dollop of milk in my coffee, so no need to give that up. I did cut down wheat by about 95%. I generally feel better and my skin totally changed for the better.
I picked up a frozen, gluten free pizza the other day. The thing was tiny and was well over 2,000 calories. That tapioca flour is high calorie shit!
