I have some bad news for you, Guy, that study is totally flawed. It ranked 1,000 mid-sized cities. Bennington isn't even a city - it's a town.  I'm not sure how you can call a town with a population of 15,000 a city.

In Delaware at Middlesex Beach this week.

Its not as charming as home, but it's not too bad.

Did some standup paddleboarding at sunrise and had a pod of dolphins join me for about 20 minutes.  There were about 8 Of them that kept surfacing within 10 feet of me.  Dolphins are very charming.

I grew up in DE. There are only three beaches (Rehoboth, Dewey, Bethany).

Never heard of Middlesex Beach. Maybe they built a new beach with all that bank tax $$.

It's just south of Bethany and just north of Fenwick Island and it's been there since the '60s.  It's a really cool old community with mostly original single story bungalows and huge lots.  None of those mega houses that sleep 23 people.  

Sea Colony is the next thing immediately north of us on the beach.

Also......what about Lewes?

I think of Lewes as a port town, less as a beach.

I spent a week with a friends family a few summers at Sea Colony. That was a looong time ago.

Will have to check out Middlesex.
