So I went way up North to Cranford, NJ for the Infamous Cranstock festival.
Despite searching the length and breadth of that County Park, there were no apparent signs of Bands, BBQ or Beer.
My thoughts were:
"Perhaps the wrong location"
"Maybe it's the wrong Day"
"There is a different County Park w/ the same name"...
Research determined that it was the proper location and date. No nearby places have the same name as that Park.
All I can figure is either:
A: Family emergencies
B: Ultimate Zoner Pranque
C: Equipment Malfunction
I think that I got Pranqued, but I'm not sweating it.
Hüsky had a nice time at the Park.
We brought stuff for BBQ, but no sign of the CranStock, hence no Grills.
It was really a Great Prank in the grand scheme of Pranks

I understand that you are jealous of not having a Hüsky to Mush through the various turmoils of Life, and that is OK.
However, not every person is fit enough to deal with this type of Northern Dog.
Such Hard-Working Dawgs can be quite a handful, and not a suitable Canine companion for people that do not engage in physical activities regularly.
Upon adopting H.I.M. I had to accept the choice of mid-life strong physical fitness as part of my lifestyle.
He is not the "Lay around and fetch the slippers" type Dog.
We run, Bike, Swim and do Sled-Dawg runs.

Mr. KK,
Mr. KK,
Mr. Surf,
Absolutely a Pranque.
Never heard of the imaginary venue change. However, Hüsky & I enjoyed hiking around the County Park.
We had an (almost) Huge Fun but could have saved some Gas & Carbon Footprint by not driving all that way.
That's really Great they did it at the ELKs Lodge,
Suuuuuuper Stealth all the way

I suppose that it is Quite Nice that no other Zoners wasted a day attending a non-existent event. Best Pranque yet for me
And, I got the opportunity to pick up some mediocre Thai take-out there in Cranford. It was about 5/10 on a rating of "One to Ten" ; Siam Inn there in Downtown.
Not Horrific, not great. About Jerseyland blah for Thai food.
I did enjoy the architecture of the crumbling downtown Cranford buildings. Lots of quaint brick structures.
Cop cars on every corner waiting for out-of-town prey there.
A quaint little North Jerseyland towne in every way.

It's about correct what Mr.
It's about correct what Mr. or Mrs. Fish (Fish) says.
I've never ever "been laid" in this life. That is like some paper-making process, right, like for Book-Binders ??
However, I look forward to that, whatever that might be.
Is it Fun ??
Have you seen Jerry Garcia play live Music ??
Well, I have. It was alright.
I can't ever do that again, but I snuck in a few times
No matter how I struggle & strive,
I'll never get out of this World alive

If you think I am easy, well, you better think a bit more.
You might be some Cutie looking for action, which is just great. However:
I am fond of Female Humans, over 25 years of age, so no Dudes for me.
That's Fine for you, but not part of the picture for me.
but here's what I think:
No Dope habits,
No Politics habits
No Religion habits
When you throw all that out the window and get Clean, we can talk about it, yeah.
Also I like the Beatles, and the Stones, and The Band, but not really Soundgarden.
Just so you know.

Im sure he had a ton going on, sounds like he was prob part of said event, so yesterday obviously got away from him...but, its no excuse....
Kudos to Disco for not ripping him here, making the best day of it, and continuing to just have fun with it today...

OK,
OK,
I admit, I am a simpleton, a hick, a country bumpkin, a rube. I fell for it 'hook line & sinker'.
But I learned quite a bit about the Olmsted Bros. style of Park design by strolling around that County Park.
Well, never mind about all that. There are dozens more (( parks )). Olmsted Bros. kept pretty busy back when. I may need further research just to spell their surname right.
Of course it's my fault for not monitoring the instagram / faceboot / twittr feeds at all times. The smart young people know to do that shit.
What did I learn ??
No need to ever visit Cranford again. It is next door to Metuchen and Rahway, and those are places you pass by on the NE corridor train on the way to NYC (Manhattan). You pass them by and think "Maybe I'll visit some day, but probably not... Why bother ?"
Rahway has a very established State Prison, yet I've never had much interest in visiting. I'm sure it is quite historical and all that, but why fuss with the scenic prison tour when you can look in any direction in that part of the world and see a decayed urban parody of Hell ?? Just driving around on the ParkPike you think "That's a great Industrial Stench, but maybe not as Quaint as the rendering plant over in Kenilworth."
People like me leave areas like that, and go somewhere better. Yes, there is Decent Thai food much closer to the Farm along quiet 2-lane roads. I know good spots for radioactive, PCB-laden Catfish right around the corner.
What I learned from the Pranq :: "There's no place like Home" and "If you start the Car, go someplace Cool, not Babylon".

You California Bickering
You California Bickering fellows are taking the Pranque thread slightly off-topic with the Bickering.
But look into the Olmsted / Olmstead Bros. projects ca. late 1800's -> early 1900's. They were considered to be El Primo Landscape Architects then.
They landscape - designed many East Coast parks like Central Park NYC, and others.

Hüsky always likes to Go
Hüsky always likes to Go Places.
That is His trip.
We're going ??? Let's Go !!!
He is determined to go North to Yukon, or maybe Northern Quêbec.
Open a car door and He is in. Loves the cushy back seat of Subaru, but will make His way to driver seat.
He's almost figured out Automatic Trans but stick-shift is a bit too tricky, so wait a while.
He is smart Hüsky and could probably manage Handicapped driving controls. However, stuff liek merging, maintaining proper lane and speed limits could take a while. I could see H.I.M. crashing a bit in His early attempts with Driving.
The First days are the hardest Days.
