Buddy was occasionally good, but in my honest opinion what psychedelic and melodic brilliance he once had is pretty much gone.
On the other hand - Jim Lewin is a fantastic tele master with furious skills and the wisdom and tastefulness to not use volume as a tool.
His leads are fierce and fluid without being loud.
This band was tight and the small crowd was having a blast with it.

Hey Ras Tim are you a fan of the The Photon Band? A DJ on KVMR plays them all the time, just last month they did a live broadcast of them from Girdwood, plus they played Nevada City about 10 years ago. Plus the Social Club played here.
