My second show - Patti Smith was one of the openers .I was a Sophmore in high school visiting my cousin in the Southwest dorms, and couldn't believe the mayhem , and told myself I could never go to school there. Bought some "hash" at the show , that turned out to be incense . I ended up living in a high rise in Southwest a couple years later ...

Wow- does Jerry have a buzzcut?

No buzz cut - ponytail ...

What up H!!

11 am show? Who was the special guest? My first Spring Concert at New Paltz was Papa John Creach. We had such weak Spring Concerts at New Paltz.

Bwa Ha - That's as CommonPlace as "Bought some Opium that turned out to be Soap"

I saw Lafayette Easton PA a week prior, but missed the next Penn State show merely because I didn't find out about it (there was no hotline yet back then).  Penn State was a setlist and psychedelic jamfest for the ages!

The ponytail tour.

"And Special Guest"

I can't condone Jerry in the middle. Metaphysically, it's out of balance.

Looks like the band vibrated out of order due to the Rocking by the audueince. Like those electric football games from '70s or marbles.

They did the "musical chairs" thing @ the beginning of the Spring 1982 tour.

With Bob Marley and the Wailers one of the opening acts on the bill that day

That's a great show Lance, thanks.  Wires and speakers and cords and monitors and dials and junction boxes and a can of slippery spray, the whole enchilada.  Is that San Jose?

That is San Jose. There is another good one from this show of

Garcia walking offstage grinning.

Bob Marley did not play at this show.  The backup bands/special guests were Roy Ayers and the Patti Smith band
