Pretty sure Office of National Drug Control Policy is primarily a policy agency and not an enforcement agency.  Trump and Sessions don't need any help with policy.  It's the devil's lettuce and that's that.  Give all that money to DEA and US Atty for enforcement.

Somebody let me know when something actually happens with this whole Russian fiasco. The soap opera has been pretty boring. People have been buying it up though.

Is this just a case of Trump being stubborn and not caring what anyone else says and picking Flynn because he trusts him?  Possibly.   I think Clappers testimony was severely damaging....  "Russia did, without doubt and with little consequence, deploy resources and tactics to disrupt America's presidential election -- to undermine Hillary Clinton, and to help Trump's campaign"  And yates claiming she can't answer a question regarding collusion between the WH and Russia because it's classified is leading (in the wrong direction for the wh).   I'm assuming she could have just said no, but there appears to me more there since she said it's classified.  If it didn't exist, I can't imagine she would have said it's classified.  

I think Donald still doesn't realize that everything he did in his business practice isn't quite fair game as president.   But I have a solution for him....never fear.   Just go play a few rounds of golf at your country club, there's nothing for you to do around here anyway.

Hypocrisy abounds down in DC I have not yet seen much of anything in regards to Russia that is so troubling. Clapper "We don't spy on Americans" is as untrustworthy as it gets. Sally Yates provided nothing substantial while I commend her for refusing to defend the travel ban "if" she truly thought is was unconstitutional I really do not think it was the case. Cruz spelled out the statute plain as day giving the Prez the authority to do so Yates herself admitted as much and so did the OLC. If the left keeps pushing this Russia line watch Cruz get put in for SCOTUS wouldn't that be a hoot. I can totally see that revenge move being made.

But seriously for anyone who is so worked up about this tell me what the big deal actually is. From my vantage point most of the leaks and disclosures to this point that have hurt the dems have been of their own making. Russians did not help Hilldog collude with Debbie to dunk Sanders. Russians were not forwarding debate questions to Hilldog. Just what Russian "fake news" was it that did it in for Hilldog? I have seen some fake news on the net usually it's pretty obvious and you'd have to be pretty stupid to fall for it. Google is your friend (well that's debatable) when it comes to quick verification of suspected fake news.

On top of all that what gives the US Govt. any right to bitch about another Country "meddling" in our elections? Christ we do it everyday the CIA is plotting to meddle in multiple countries as I type this. We sent 100's of thousands to fund opposition groups in Israel. We sent the CIA in this year to gather intel on the French elections then theres is Ukraine and this is just recently. You could go back and write books on this stuff.

In the end I am pretty sad Flynn got the shaft. The real reason Obama got rid of him was that he dared speak out against arming the Syrian rebels aka al-nusra and ISIS there is some great reporting out there by Seymour Hersh on this topic from that timeframe. I had hoped Flynn would be able to tamper some of the MIC's warmongering ways unfortunately this McMaster guy seems to be a McCain clone.
