yep, that's how I remember it... not the strongest show (I recall the giant heads in the parade and did they have the liquor bars open

downstairs?), but we were happy to be there... thanks Kevin and tapers!

I was at this show, Alan. What a fun time, I just love 87 dead. We were so young back then. cool

Puffed a fatty with Bill Walton in the basement beer garden....

This show was my major bus stop. I decided, during Terrapin, that I would never miss another Jerry Garcia concert.

And so it began...

I was there, we were alive and so were they. Young, having fun, the music sparkled, life was full.

How funny, I thought this thread was going to be about Hampton 87. Gimme Some Lovin opened the 2nd set of nite 3

Was that the night they did the Quinn encore? It was a good run, yes Dylan rumors, yes it was 30+ years ago...

opened show with Quinn...a happy version...Iko started second set

(Hi Bart, hope all is well out there)

another fun one recently re-released: Grateful Dead with Hall and Oates 9/24/88 Rainforest Benefit
