Ok, so luke (my acorn) and i played second home run wiffle ball derby game of spring today...you know the rules, foul it off on a swing and its an out...only hit is a home run.....designated today by dandelions at beginning of outfield grass...just a few yards past infield dirt...(believe me, thats a poke w a wiffle ball from home plate)...so, somehow the kid has a 9-3 lead going onto ninth....and late in eight, he starts singing Queen, "we are the champions"....and im just glaring at him...and tell him he ll regret singin THAT...
I get two quick outs in 9th...then hit 5 straight homers, one of which is still airborne, and he spoke of all day after...so, now, its 9-8, and he s literally quivering in his sneaks....
then i struck out...he won...9-8, now up two games to none...
But....the look on his face when i hit fifth in a row????
