Are women going to be afraid to report sexual assaults now for fear of losing their healthcare or skyrocketing premiums.
I see why Trump is so happy about this bill now.
What a fucking joke. Also, I think we can all agree that most of the blame here lies with rich white babyboomers.

I'm guessing that rich, white baby boomers make up about 0.50% of the total population, maybe 0.75% if pushing the limits of "rich."
It's sad to think that such a tiny minority can set policy for so many, especially in the 21st century.

Judit, your copy/paste is incorrect. Under the proposed plan, people with pre-existing health conditions will have access to health care. They just will have to pay more.

Just start a frickin' single
Just start a frickin' single payer health system.
I'd be more that happy to send some extra tax money to provide health care to all Americans.

A few months ago Ryan said something like, "The American Way is for people to choose if they have health insurance, and which one they want."
Says fucking who? Him?
Why can't the American Way be that everyone has health insurance, simply because it's the civilized thing to do?

Sure, but they still have
Sure, but they still have access. (Also, there ARE municipalities/states that prevent gun ownership based on pre-existing mental conditions.)
Words matter. Facebook/twitter copy and pastes dumb down the debate. Not everything can be summarized into a bumper sticker.

The whole, "yeah, but they have access..." argument is ridiculous. At its very best, it's just patronizing and demeaning.

I believe, under the Bill,
I believe, under the Bill, States can determine if they will cover pre-existing conditions AND pregnancy. If they choose not to, then millions will not have access.
So yes, for a select few there will be access, but it still may not be affordable.

The core problem is nothing is being done to reduce costs. Not in ACA and not in this bill.

That's because there is only
That's because there is only one way to reduce costs, but it's the pink elephant.
If people on both sides of the aisle really want reduced costs, they will move to universal / single-payer.
The majority, on both sides, is afraid of those words, and as we know, words matter.
