Have not had one since August 9th.

But who's counting.

Me, that's who.

 

I don't mind one from time to time.  They're often too sweet for me though.    I love citrusy IPAs, but when done without any fruit juice.    A real good American/NE  IPA can taste and look like fruit juice with citrus and tropical flavors, without any juice. Late hop additions into the boil with strains of hops like Amarillo, Cascade, Citra combined with a clean yeast or one that gives off fruity esters is all you need.

the 2 i mentioned above are not that sweet just hints of citrus

Mad River is doing one: TROPI-Cal IPA. It reminds me of the Hop Valley Cirtus Mistress. I think it's because they both use grapefruit peels.
