Donate Life Month

Forums:

April is National Donate Life Month.

I have the donor thing on my drivers license but I have been wondering if there is an age cutoff for donors?

Does anyone really want my rode hard and put up wet liver?

Someone may need your skin, eyes, heart, lungs, you know,  the other stuff beside your liver.

Thanks, judit.  Waste not, want not.

Been on the donor list for a long time. What will you be doing with those things anyway? A great gift to someone in dire need.

Saw this news story on the internet the other day, but nobody presents it better than the AMAZING Steve Hartman.

His stories are a "don't miss" in my home on Friday evening, and on the web later if I do.

Check out Steve Hartman's stuff if you choose. Put a smile in your heart.  http://www.cbsnews.com/evening-news/on-the-road/

Thanks for the thoughtful reminder, Judit.

As Phil keeps saying, DL check-off won't do it. You have to inform your family what you want - they will be the ones asked if/when the unthinkable happens.

I have a few Donate Life license plate frames.  I will send you one for shipping costs. Email me.

Phil does not know what he is talking about here. I have had this problem with him forever.  And he would never let us table a phil show. Said  his charity was taking care of that, but they never did. Just Phil's mis-info. Kudos for the message, but why not get it right?

California has a legal and binding Donor setup. If you sign up on your license, you are set.  Telling your family is a good thing. Them knowing your wishes is never a bad thing. But sign up with DMV.

Thanx for the reminder
