Just finished watching Sunshine Makers on Netflix. Story of LSD manufacturers Nick Sand and Tim Scully and LSD culture in general..Figure most here would enjoy it much as I did ..https://youtu.be/hsvElED0-O0
So much credit is given to Owsley, and rightfully so, but the credit for the most understated, underground acid chemist of all time goes directly to the Sandman. 30 yrs of keeping us electrified, and most of that on the run from the feds. Truly unbelievable how dedicated of a chemist he was. No question he was the true source for most of the Dead's tenure and for all of us who enjoyed his craft through the decades. That's one dude I'd love to meet.
i thought it was decent. definitely cool to see scully and sand in present day.
they skipped from 1976-1996, when Sand gets busted in Canada w/ "enough L to dose canada twice over"-yet he only got 6 years in a US prison. seems odd to me.

LOL . They stayed high. Sand licked his finger after touching some hot lab glass wear and ingested two thousand mics.

Billy Hitchcock turned out to be a real piece of work. Not surprised to see he was in the banking and oil business today.
