Grateful for so much. Laughter, Unconditional Love, Healing, Helping others who have helped me. Life took a major turn for me just over 2 years ago. A new path with So many lessons. Never saw it coming.
I'll take a moment here to say, Thank You to judit, Hey Davey, and Lava for working tirelessly -- and with no ego -- in the background to provide this safe haven in this little corner of the interwebs for phreaks like, and unlike, myself. It's been a wonderful platform to chronicle some life experiences, gain some knowledge from others in their areas of expertise, acknowledge passings, and have a few laughs. Thank You.
And for those who enjoy celebrating common holidays in an uncommon fashion.....
We had our turkey dinner last weekend, was delish! I made the mashed potatoes out of baked spuds instead of boiled, really liked the flavor, texture wasn't as creamy.
For thanksgiving I'm making turkey enchiladas with a verde sauce, but sadly, Covid got me, I lost my sense of smell / taste on Weds, and I'm just hoping I didn't make it too spicy when I made the components on Tuesday... the day I started loosing my senses... (just a little more heat, seems too mild, perhaps a little more heat, repeat, LOL.)
34 years ago Jerry Garcia & Friends would have a Thanksgiving Celebration and play as The Log Cabin Boys, a one-off, informal group consisting of Jerry Garcia, David Nelson, Sandy Rothman and Dan Healy.
