Way back in 1990 we were lurking behind the Hartford Civic Center, near the buses, hoping to hang with the band or fam. Out walks Steve Parrish and Jerry Garcia, they kind of look at us, we look at them. My crew just froze, finally I blurt out "Hey Jerry got an extra smoke?" and he looks at me straight deadpan and says "Get lost, kid" then he and Steve walk onto the bus...I really took that advice to heart I truly did get lost for a few years after that...Thank you Jerry, I miss you.
