"The tour concept is unlike anything I’ve done before. We’ll keep the mobility that was a key element of the American Utopia tour and Broadway show— but instead of the chain… we will have locations. You’ll just have to come and experience what that involves."

Nice tour. This will be a must see.

Presale code looks to be TREBLE.

Needs an artist passcode in addition to presale code

try SKYGUY

SKYGUY worked for me in buffalo and Syracuse but needed to access TM from link

I'm in for Saturday in Miami!

Skyguy was code sent to me

SKYGUY

I'm in for Anthem in DC 9/27

Front row Syracuse, Buffalo front row was all vip(no thanks) so got front row balcony

This is why I check on the zone everyday!  Thanks guys!  Cheers!

Thanks fishcane, I got the email but would of never known without this thread

I'm in for Friday in LA. Kinda surprised because the text said 10:00 AM local time, and it's only 7:35 AM here.

You bet guys, I've gotten a lot of early head ups here over the years so least i could do ... looking forward to this

Snagged mezzanine seats for 10/10 Radio City.

I can't be positive but pretty sure I haven't been to Radio City since the Furthur tribute show to Owsley. Quite a ripper.

In for Thursday LA

I'm such an optimist - like LA is still going to be standing!

IMG_0825.pngDid anyone else get David's contact info?

Got a pair on the aisle one row in front of the board for the first night in Seattle at the Paramount.  Veteran's Day.

Will be seeing Patti Smith at the same venue the night before.

Seeing Byrne for the first time at the BGCC on 11/16! SKYGUY was the pre-sale password and I bought easily as well prior to the 10:00 AM Pacific local time it was apparently supposed to begin.

Super stoked! Thank you for the heads up!

$380 for tix on top deck

Fuck that

Weird I got a front row pit for about the same. 197$ each for front row balcony at the other. Some markets just seem to run so much more than others

>>>>Front row Syracuse, Buffalo front row was all vip(no thanks) so got front row balcony

That's my preferred spot anyway these days.

ATL goes on sale Friday but got an inside line. Decent tix are $220-$270

>>>Did anyone else get David's contact info?

Have you called?

I paid about $95 for the second mezzanine at the Dolby, but it's only a 3400 seat theater, so I can live with that.

I did call, number was not working but you know I am keeping it in my contacts. My Miami tickets were $217 for two tickets about 10 rows back in the upper section

Miami for Saturday $379 for front row on balcony.

I cant come off with that, but the prices go up and down every half hour. Now the same tix are $319

Fuckin scam

Thanks for the password, in for BGCA night 1, front row of the balcony at $149 each.

> number was not working

818 is the SFV. laylo.com is is a connect-with-your-fans platform located in LA.

I did get a text thru

Psyched for tour . Let's do this Peoples!!

Can we talk about the single..?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM-BTJKIz0Q

i'll start : Fuckin Classic Dave! Boom!

I love it...

Bassoon, Slode Trumbone, Mauro Refusco on percussion !,, Ho Lee Sheet this is gunna be a fun one !

Great single. Reminds of his movie True Stories (full onscreen title: True Stories: A Film About a Bunch of People in Virgil Texas.) one of my top 10 movies of all time.

If you haven't seen it, check it out. Surreal, weird, wonderful, full of great music and great actors. Yes. It's true, I bring it up whenever I think of it.

Judith, I love True Stories!  Great album as well.

I'm writing a memoir and just wrote about seeing Talking Heads in 1979 Dr Pepper Music Festival at the Wolman Skating rink in Central Park NYC. Fear of Music had just come out the week before the show. The B52s opened up for them. Totally blew my mind. I also got to see them in 1980 with Adrian Belew and the extended line up at same venue before Remain In Light came out

Cheers!

A total classic Judit, I love it. John Goodman = Sweet

We're in for Maine!

Living the high life!

Guess I'll go to cashortrade if they're coming near me lol

Well, Jill, our appetite for live music is definitely bigger than our budget.
Probably the reason I continue to bury us in crushing debt.
Don't worry, we struggle quite a bit.
But living the high life? Ya, if we can, why not?
Still beats lowlife.
But yeah, cashortrade is sometimes a good option.
I'm not a big fan of the new platform, though.
I tried to miracle some tix for a show at Nectar's the other night, only to find that it's not an option anymore.
You can't list anything for less than $5 now.
There's also this stupid process to get a show added that they don't list. You have to ask jambase to add it. I guess jambase & cashortrade are maybe same company?
Honestly some of the best last-minute deals are often on stubhub. Folks taking anything for tix, rather than a loss.
I have ended up in some nice balcony seats at the Cap, just by waiting until walk-in time to get em on stubhub.

Thank you, Zone!     Traveling and would have totally missed this. Viva La Zone!

I'm wondering what presales / sales are the best?!

When do you get the best seats and does the price go up or down for them?!

Artist-

Another Planet -

TM- general on sale ????

Roshambo, I have no idea about general or which presales are the best.  When I heard about of the presale I jumped on them. Bottom line is that I got two floor row T center section for the Anthem in Washington DC for $255 total.

While I try to be mindful of price(I don't buy platinum or VIP) I often have a very specific idea of where I want to sit, outweighing the cost, which means generally buying when tickets first become available. But sometimes things are worth waiting a bit. When Metallica first went on sale the Pit Gas were sold out quickly but a bunch of platinum available. I held off and an hour later a bunch of reg priced tix appeared, 178$ put me on the rail where they were 300+$ at first. My advice, is just use your gut, every show and venue is different sometimes one night to the next...

it can be a stressful tactic but often waiting until just before doors open to buy is when prices are lowest. But that also isn't a rule, I've seen some with good availability stay full price right through showtime. I upgraded myself to front row at McCartney for under 200$ a few years ago right before the show and ended up sitting right in front of Jim Boeheim. I love telling people I got a better seat than JB in the dome lol

my rule is if I see the seats I want at what I'm willing to pay, I buy them

Other passwords that you can try, not only for this show, but for all shows

I was excited for this and grateful for the heads up on the Zone. Picked two decent seats in the rear of the lower blacony and ......... Woza.

$1277 face, In Schenectedy!

Then spent ~$150 a seat each to see YES and Otiel & Friends at The Cap. Will never complain about Cap prices again.

>>I love telling people I got a better seat than JB in the dome lol<<

awesome

next life goal: get a better seat than coach b at delmonico's

The best time was the first (artist) presale on Tuesday. I got Orchestra Row A at the Dolby for $199. That row was $400-500 later, after platinum kicked in.

Haha, not a chance there lol

Thanks for the passwords. In for Monday at BGCC

in for Paris night 1

New album preorder is up, out 9/5

Lenticular cover on the deluxe LP that's cool

> The Art of Sound

Very cool. Thanks for the link, fishcane. I look forward to upcoming episodes.

I find it interesting that "cash grab" hasn't been uttered here even once.

I'm sure this will be a good show, but no spot taken. I'm not a big fan of rehearsed, choreographed productions.

Have fun to all who go!

i checked the price and bowed out immediately

I wouldn't call touring to support a new album a cash grab, but maybe that's just me.

My thoughts exactly, hardly a cash grab by my definition. But then again I don't understand the concept of criticism of anything under the context of cash grab to begin with. Really, what isn't?
