Flying over Greenland and seeing all the glaciers below was a peak nature-related experience for me. "Awesome" is so overused but it was.

It almost sounds like a science fiction movie where Earth is programmed with a mechanism to rid itself of a planet-threatening species. Too bad it's for real.
