Tuesday Surprise

The popcorn got stale in 2017.

Slacker's shtick got stale before that and the dumb dumb is too dense to learn to make fresh popcorn. But at lease he hasn't yet played the victim and cried about being a poor boy in California.. yet.

5+ years of we got him is a lot of popcorn.

That's the thing about Popcorn,,,I got plenty

Can't we have nachos or something else for a change?

You can have whatever you like. Just clean up after yourself.

at this point tequila seems appropriate

Have a freakin Cheato Nacho Salad I don't care

"It's the finest salad around " to go to Jail with!!  Lol

The thing about Slacker's shtick is that it's been pretty spot-on the whole way.

Despite so many obvious truths & overwhelming evidence, I, like Slacker, am skeptical that anyone major (like an ex-president) will end up going down hard, or at all.

The powerful tend to take care of themselves, even if it's those they don't like.

Still, it will be interesting to see what drops tomorrow, but ultimately I can't help but think that this is all for show.

the pussy grabber, narcissist, lying, instigating, shithole moneymonger (probably covers a few more than just "him") is now the evangelical hero of all time.  his friends will be there for him no matter the uproar.

Tonight, CNN is suggesting it's Cassidy. "Sources."

One key witness the committee has yet to hear from publicly is Cassidy Hutchinson, a former aide to Mark Meadows, the final White House chief of staff to President Donald J. Trump.

Ms. Hutchinson has provided the panel with some of its biggest revelations to date, all made during videotaped closed-door testimony, portions of which have been shown or alluded to in previous hearings. She is said to have been present when Mr. Meadows described hearing Mr. Trump react approvingly to chants by his supporters to hang Vice President Mike Pence. And she testified that a half-dozen Republican lawmakers who led the efforts in Congress to overturn the election sought pardons after the riot.

If it's a legitimate surprise, there needs to be a roast beef sandwich involved.

Tonight, CNN is suggesting it's Cassidy. "Sources." <<<

It could be; likewise, Cipollone might also fit the bill as someone who's "alive and willing" with an imperative urgency to strike while the iron is hot.

In general terms, I suspect the following possibilities (in order of likelihood):

- a witness who is reluctantly willing to testify voluntarily, but is susceptible to some form of extreme coercion or even execution to silence said, individual

- enormously important intelligence discovery that has a time-sensitive component related to the public's "need to know"

- some connection to the SCOTUS ... whether it's related to Ginny & Clarence Thomas, counter intel discovery, or just trying to get the wind back in the sails of the Jan 6 hearings in light of how Dobbs has essentially hijacked what NEEDS to be front and center; and by which all else follows (including Roe)

“BETTER BE A BIG DEAL,” John W. Dean, the White House counsel under President Richard M. Nixon known for his role in the Watergate scandal, wrote on Twitter. “There was only one surprise witness during the Senate Watergate Committee hearings. On July 16, 1973 an unannounced witness appeared: Alex Butterfield, who testified to Nixon’s secret taping system — forever changing history!”

Right?! Except Trump and family were  doing not so secret recordings with a documentary film maker, who I believe has shared all the raw footage with the Jan 6 committee.

in their arrogance, likely criminal activity will be exposed

> in their arrogance

Today I learned that arrogance and hubris are not the same thing. "Arrogance tends to be one's excessive pride relating to how they are better than others, whereas hubris is extremely self-belief in one's abilities, and may have nothing to do with others at all." https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/hubris.asp

I think the Trump is guilty of both of them.

"Come wash the night-time clean
Come grow the scorched ground green
Blow the horn, tap the tambourine
Close the gap of the dark years in between
You and me, Cassidy"

Sorry, FOM, but a link just doesn't do this thing justice. It might well be Trump's greatest masterpiece.

What is he, nine years old?

Here's what we're learning: After insisting armed supporters be admitted to the 1/6 rally, Trump directed that mob to go to the Capitol and target his VP, to pressure him to disrupt the election's conclusion amid a premeditated plot to keep himself in power illegitimately.

Pretty sure that's a fake one, Mike.

But it certainly COULD be real.....

You might be right, Local. But I'm not finding anything that indicates it's fake.

White House staff were probably generally relieved that he would be occupied for hours after lunch playing with the cheap crap toys that came with his little Happy Meal from McD's....except that they had to also routinely clean it off the wall from tantrums.

shes gonna sink this Ship of Fools

Though I could not caution all
I still might warn a few
Don't lend your hand to raise no flag
Atop no ship of fools

Assaulting a secret service agent?!

I'm having a hard time imagining Trump's fat ass lunging from the back seat to the front to grab the wheel. I don't doubt it happened though.

surprise, surprise Jan 6 witnesses being intimated by the Trump Mafia...

Trump jus tweeted he could take Richard Engel any day of the week...

Richard Engel is a tougher than nails media/reporting hero while dumbo is and always has been a shit stain at best.

Trump also hasn't been on Twitter in more than a year.

Clearly, he was just demonstrating a parlor trick that went astray.

>A stunning 2 hours:
1)Trump knew the protesters had guns

2)He assaulted his own security team

3)There may be a line from ProudBoys to the WH

4)Top aides asked for pardons

5)The commission thinks they have evidence of witness tampering.

-Mick Mulvaney

*Correction*

While this is true, (Richard Engel is a tougher than nails media/reporting hero while dumbo is and always has been a shit stain at best), I believe the reference was intended for Robert Engel, the Secret Service agent whom had to intervene when dumbo tried grabbing the steering wheel.

>>>>>>Robert Engel, the lead agent, told him he had to go back to the West Wing. At that point, according to the account Hutchinson later heard, the president reached up toward the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Engel grabbed his arm. “Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel,” the agent reportedly said. “We’re going back to the West Wing. We’re not going to the Capitol.”<<<<<<

Shit. Show.

Deep State double-take or a thickening plot?

"Secret Service agents are prepared to testify that Trump did not lunge at them or try to take control of the car to reach the Capitol, reports say"

https://www.yahoo.com/news/secret-agents-prepared-testify-trump-12570469...

Fact is, we will never know which secret service agent was driving Ms. Donnie, but I'm certain some of them will testify that he never did that to them...

Of course, it's small potatoes that the Driving Ms Donnie incident is  the only thing being  refuted in Ms Hutchinson's testimony, which hardly exonerates  Ms Donnie as there is still plenty of evidence pointing to sedition, treason and witness tampering.

Maybe next time.

Oh look, it's Slacker showing off his fast trolling skills.  Too bad he can't find himself a job with those skills so he can afford to buy a home  in his desired location. Maybe next time Racket will beat him to it.

A gentrifier would make fun of working class wages in a thread about overpaid "professionals".

Poor Poor Slacker. He's been playing the victim for so long he actually can't escape the role. He sure does love his Pity Party, with plenty of stale popcorn.

Trump Denies Ever Knowing Ketchup

“This business about me using ketchup is a lie, and Wacko Cassidy knows it,” Trump wrote on his social network, Truth Social. “I have never worked with ketchup, and I don’t know ketchup.”

https://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/trump-denies-ever-knowin...

"...Heintz, Hunts, none of those guys!"

Time for the firing squad. Right at the bottom of the Capital steps. Capital police should be in the firing squad.

This man wanted to lead a coup. Draw and quarter him while you're at it. He deserves no better.

my new insult: I bet you voted for Trump.  Pretty much says it all.  Lynn Cheney: "you cannot be loyal to Trump and be a Republican."

That's a real Republican. Agree or not. That's it
