Sir Paul to tour US in spring

God Dammm It,, I just get my credit cards down to a manageable level and here comes the 22 concert schedule's. 

None of us is getting any younger and I've really enjoyed Paul's shows in the past, so I figure to pony up for this one.

All these generations later it's other-worldly to see Paul on stage, playing a Hofner and singing Beatles songs.

I'm 61 now and I clearly remember being five years old and sneaking down the stairs to see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and my friends and I pretending to be the Beatles. I was always Ringo and "played" on a little padded step-stool. I still have that stool, and I keep it specifically because of that memory.

It's also cool that in the BA he's playing at the Oakland Coliseum and not Chase Center, which has another event the same night.

Chase has it's positives and the Coliseum has many flaws, but especially if you're in the lower bowl it's better than Chase, which is vast.

It'll be downright "intimate" in Oakland.

Heard about Brent's passing on the car ride home from seeing Paul in Foxboro. Talk about going from the highest high to the lowest low in half a fucking second flat.

I saw rfk 1990 and then again in 93. Didn't see him again til 2014, 2015 and 2017. This will be first n only sound check show tho. Probably be the last time for me. Gonna be Ringo on Monday, Plant/Krauss Weds and Paul on Sat. Should be a good week 

$185 uppers - $540 side stage. Maybe that's cheap if you're a boomer.

Cheapest tickets at my venue were 57$-69$, that's not an expensive venture... blame resellers and Ticketmaster demand based pricing, the fees eat up a 3rd of the cost. If resellers didn't exist, the vendor wouldn't be saying "hey I wanna piece of that"

I'd like to see Sir Paul but the thought of being surrounded by thousands of entitled baby boomers on date night, would agitate me to no end. A fear and loathing scenario filled with all sorts of goblins. 

I took my daughter to Jojo siwa the other night,  perhaps give that a shot

An impressive feat.  Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and Mississippi John Hurt all come to mind as artists who got close to matching it.
