He was sort of dealt a bad hand in trying to fill the shoes that were vacated by Brent but did really well in my opinion even though I really loved and sorely missed Brent. I briefly talked with him on the phone once when my Uncle was seeing him play at The Green Parrot in Key West shortly before his passing. He contributed some spooky good harmonies!

Definitely the first thing I heard, that made me think that there was a future for the music.
I mean, at that point (96), I feel like I legitimately still wondered what exactly was "done"; and we had no idea of any continuing legacy?
Anyway, I was in Maine, buying some weed at a friend's house, and he was playing a MMF show.
I was like, "Who is that?!?!" Never saw them play, but remember that moment pretty clearly.
Sounded great.

MMF was a breath of fresh air
MMF was a breath of fresh air for a brief moment and time, particularly the Fillmore shows.
I probably still have the Missing Man Formation CD around somewhere.
Yo Vinnie!
