Saw this show last month, it was Aces... May need to check out this one with the full slate of players...

So glad it helped ya, Dise. So cool these extraordinary musicians get to play these epic venues. And folks around the world get to see it. I have SLC friends who traveled to Carnegie for tomorrow's show.

Chris Thile -

I’m sad to announce that I have to bow out of Béla Fleck’s concert at the Ryman this Friday in an effort to give the imminent Punch Brothers tour its best shot at going off without a hitch, Covid-wise (FINGERS CROSSED). Stay safe and I hope to see you on this Punch tour soon!

Thank you for posting this!

and... minutes after i pay for the stream, it gets postponed until tomorrow

Due to hazardous weather conditions in Nashville and out of an abundance of caution for fans, crew, and performers, Béla Fleck's livestream from Ryman Auditorium tonight has been rescheduled to tomorrow, January 8th at 9pm ET.

I'm in Nashville for the Ryman concert and I have no idea why they had to postpone.  The airport and downtown are sunny and fine, tho a bit cold.  Maybe a combination of:  1) Nashville doesn't have the equipment or the skill set to deal with a few inches of snow; and, 2) Sam, Jerry, Bela and many ticket holders' streets haven't been plowed.  Real glad I planned on staying here til Sunday.

Tomorrow works better for me.

We're passing on the $10 Hamilton tix Lily won.

I just realized my laptop has an HDMI port.  Hoping I can use the cable from a Roku to patch into the (modestly sized) TV and BIG-ASS 80s speakers.

Seeing this show on Sunday at Carnegie Hall!

Looks like this show has been POSTPONED (snow, not COVID) until tomorrow, 1/8.  So in case you missed it, you didn't!

Head's up. And I mean HEADS up!   45 minutes away.

Damn, the poster is sold out already. Thought it was going to be available through the stream when it started. Oh well. Anyone buy an extra?

Grateful Dave, did they postpone the earlier show at Carnegie??? Or were there two?

I'm in. My laptop is on a re-purposed dining room chair next to the tv, hooked up via our Roku cable. Just made a quick trip for some Blue Point Toasted Lager and threw together some guacamole.

The Ryman has pews.  I guess folks aren't kidding with that "First Church . . ." Stuff.

(F'n autocorrect. Changed Ryman to Rumania)

No es bueno.sad

Buffering.  Freezing. Jumping.

Definitely had some technical problems that first set.

Some amazing picking. What a treat.

Don't know if it was Mandolin or the Ryman, definitely some issues. Wasn't as smooth as it could've been, but lots of musicians and lots of on-stage personnel changes can be a nightmare.

I'm hoping I can see what was phugged up unmarred on replay.

Cool to see the Tony T. sit-in.

All good on the replay.

Have fun tonight if you're going.

Grateful Dave or whoever's going, you're probably there, but if you can get a poster for me.............

Just called the gift shop. No mail order, only attendees.

Thanks Slick!   Just picked up a poster after getting shutout earlier.

Good deal, Eddie. Glad my post helped. Sure would like one of those NY posters.

Holy s**t!  Check it out before it's gone!  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQ65WXNPQmI
