I'm doing one audio show, phil or deadco whichever's free,, if they're both free, whichever is mixed the best,,, and of course yankee baseball on the video.
It's been great these past few weeks,, when the yankees are sucking, deadco's been jamming so you can't get that upset about it.

What a scenic backdrop. I would certainly have a better time in the mountains at a smaller venue for a Phil show than in a stadium anywhere for Bob and co.

It's a little less complicated than it use to be, thanks to learning how to take screen shots (though le zone doesn't like them, even after dumbing down, so post on FB, then post over here). The rest is just finding links and posters, but it is time consuming (especially the pic part)

Phil's friends seemed to have kicked it up a notch from the Thursday show IMO. Real good stuff, except for that MHB The Roses,, that song brings any set vibe to a screeching halt. Many thanks to the FF Flyer who started off with Bob at Wrigley, then after a couple songs God said enough of this shit as He opened up the Chicago sky to rain so we could enjoy Phil, and FFF hardly missing a beat switched us right over to Vail. Seamless sweetness.

Everyone's got a song they'd prefer not to hear live,, MHBTR is mine,, always has been, even with Jerry singing it. Slows a set down to a crawl, too wishy washy. My piss break and restock the beers tune. So I guess it does serve a purpose. The rest of the show was sweetness.

Venue was awesome, easy parking with a short walk
they had free golf cart taxis but we enjoyed the walk
no lines to the bathroom or beverages
let us bring in sandwiches
could smoke freely
grabbed great seats from the venue the day before the show
brought my new love to her first "Dead" event and she loved every minute of it
(she loved Must Have been The Roses but especially They Love Each Other)
Talked about going again tonight on the ride home
So my complaint is the sound was a bit muddy in our great seats for most of Rueben but they dialed it in.
Weird how there's no soundboard anymore. Just a guy walking around the crowd adjusting the sound from his phone
but my real complaint is Holly needs to be let loose. As good as a listener as she is, I think she should just play more to her skill set instead of trying to fit in so much.
p.s. Is that the first time I've heard Phil's different arrangement of Ripple? Kinda reminded me of Jane's Addiction cover on Deadicated
