u may all repay me by petty bickering about which r the best and worst sit ins.
don't b afraid to hurl insults and make it personal.
I'll also accept deader than thou attempts of citing examples of omissions or errors in the list, just don't pull a Lance and make sure to scroll the whole thing first.
>>>You going to My Morning Jacket at the Greek
Of course I'm going to Greek mmj, might even have an extra if u or anyone u know needs one.
1st tickets I purchased when shows started coming back.
was looking like the only concert I'd b attending this year for a minute until practically everybody else decided to announce dates.
still, hoping they go all out for the Greek.
Don't think I'm gonna make it to the residents at the Castro the week prior though, which I'm already regretting, but I'm high tailing it to Arcata to see mdou moctar for the first time a couple days after mmj and all that traveling and expense is feeling like a bit more to manage than I might b up for right now.
what's the story with the chapel co-opting that Castro theater anyhow?
I remember way back in the day being obsessed with writing down set lists during shows. Then I figured out how many people where writing down and publishing those details so I stopped worrying.
In the early days of the Phil Zone online I got obsessed with collecting bootleg concert CDs. Then after a few years, when I had a roomful of them, some Zoners let me know that CDs were passe, and they had moved along to hard drives.
Now the documentation and the tunes are in the cloud.
I am glad that the obsessed continue to do this work, so I don't have to worry about it anymore. I truly appreciate their efforts and countless hours invested which frees me up for other projects.

Can't argue with that, which is why I'm going to the show/s!
Can't argue with Roarshock either. Documenting history is important work and I love that I get to reap the benefits without having to do any of the work.

Good lord.
Good lord.
We're OBSESSED with this band!
BTW, there's no way that's close to the comprehensive list.
Where are all the mid/late 70's and early/mid 80's sit-ins?
There were many.
Still, some fun stuff to listen to.

The Castro is a geat, funky
The Castro is a great, funky, classic old SF theater, perfect for the Rez. I'll be there.
And also the next night at the Rio in Santa Cruz, after Amendola/Blades/Parker/Skerik at the tiny Kuumbwa.
I gotta' go to the show, you know?
(While I can/while any of us can)

Yeah, you know, The Residents
Yeah, you know, The Residents are pretty much one or two really old guys doing what's left of their thing, so I don't expect too much at this point.
But then, that's when a couple of old dudes may just blow us away.
It will be fun to hear & see.
