Rocks for birds to shit on.

Everything on the ground or water is for birds to shit on.

catalina is in the fucking way. maybe trump can blow it up for me?

Totally, Slacker. Stay away. It's sooo much better without a bunch of people.

Catalina, by comparison and because of the amount of people, seems almost devoid of life compared to the other five islands you can visit in "California's Galapagos".

You've never seen so much wild oceanic nature and may be frightened. For instance, you could see a Blue Whale on your way there or back, the largest animal ever to live on this planet. Experiencing their sheer size in person can take your breath away. We've had Humpbacks swim right underneath us, too. Killer Whales, Great Whites, Mako's--don't mess.

Did you know Santa Rosa Island has a site where the oldest human remains found in North America have been found? Big medicine all over those islands.

Take a little trip, and you're a world away from the mainland. Almost like traveling back in time to a Wild California seldom seen or understood by your modern peers. You'll easily find plants and animals that exist nowhere else on earth.

Of course, you'd have to make it there in the first place--no small task. It's the least visited National Park and charges no fees, if you can make it (not talking Catalina).

Much, much safer to stick to Disney's Finding Dory stories. They're so realistic!

The beach is nothing but a bird bathroom

Watch out!!!

San Clemente and San Nicolas are under Navy control. The other six can be visited. Each are unique and interesting in their own ways, big and small.

The birds are eating the fish and shitting everywhere ruining it for the humans, just too many fish thats the problem. Just keep polluting the water and the fish will die, soon after the birds will die and stop pooping on the rocks, then the humans can enjoy it more..

>and may be frightened. || yeah especially when you get stranded on a boat in the fog off anacapa in the shipping lane and a container ship suddenly appears dead reckoning and the boat yer on starts sailing backwards heading on a collision course for an oil rig while the 3 cylinder yanmar diesel won't start and the captain whose gone below to take a look seems to be down there a long time and as it turns out has passed out from lack of sleep on day two of an idyllic delivery cruise from SD to Ballena Bay. that eventually took four passages. good times

^ Spoken like someone who's been there. Shit can certainly happen out there, and it will.

Definitely make some really nice boards. Most money i ever spent on a new board but worth every penny.

How much would a kayak trip for 3 to see some California's Gold cost?

Huell is/was the best. I ran into him once at the Isthmus on Catalina, and he was as nice in-person as he appears on his show.

My friend Catherine runs kayak trips out there.

She loves it.
