Invasion of the Body Snatchers 1978

Forums:

Watched it, Donald Sutherland, Brooke Adams. OK.  San Francisco the setting.

A banjo player in the park seen a few times.  Actor portrayed but the tunes provided by one Jerry Garcia.

That is all.

Not my genre, so I haven't seen it, but good scoop anyway, aiq. Jerome John is surely a favorite topic around here for me.

Who knew?

"That's not Jerry!"

An interesting period piece for SF during that time. A darker rough-around-the-edges union town. Whodathunk that the gummy aliens would eventually come in the form of a reprobate tech bro militia. So it goes.

A very good movie with great cast and super creepy soundtrack.

If it's a caper, eat it.

Great movie all around.   A rare remake that is better than the original (which is a great movie too).

Banjo actor Joe Bellan miming to Garcia's recording.

No way the remake is better than the original.

Took doses and sat through it twice at the theater back in 78.
