edit. In the late 70s i life guarded for a 2hr afternoon lap swim group which consisted of over one dozen folks with large scars on their chest from heart surgery. They did not relate to me any stories of quick recovery. And i was a nervous lifeguard with that crowd.

Hey, thanks for the good wishes (much appreciated) but I just wanna clear something up.
I was referring to the ease of my "procedure" done on Jan 11th and how things have changed for the better. It wasn't this week or anything. I guess I had only posted about it in the "Good News" thread back in January.
They took me in at 3, went up my wrist, took pics, shot dye, more pics, installed two stents. Out at 6 and to a room in time for the college football championship game. Booted me out the next morning and I went to Costco for meds. If I had gotten in at 11:30 AM when they scheduled, I may have been sent home that night after 6-7 hours of recovery and monitoring. The advancements have been amazing.

Thanks. Good health? Well, I'm not a heart attack waiting to happen at THIS point, but I still have two arteries at 50% volume so there's still plenty of work to do.
Gonna retire Oct 1st and go enjoy the rest of my time.
Back to this thread topic. Joy, sure hoping things went OK for the mystery Zoner. Any updates?

One of my golfing partners
One of my golfing partners just went thru a triple bypass, three months recovery and he is back with us playing on the weekends, and playing as good as before.
wishing zoner same success for a speedy recovery, and the the will power for the comeback.
