The captain of the 39-foot Hot Tuna is a bear of a man with a scraggly beard who loves the Grateful Dead, and he'll be the first one to tell you without equivocation that his life as a commercial fisherman is a profession, but also a kind of addiction. All of it—the wind across the deck; the solitude of being out at a spot like Jeffreys Ledge in the Gulf of Maine; settled behind the wheel with a pair of Rottweilers named Reba and Ripple lounging at his heels, scanning the sonar screen—for a guy who grew up in the fishing community of Broad Channel, New York, it doesn't get any better than this.

Close but no guitar

Poor guy will be dead before he's 50.

Tim, funniest shit I've read in quite a while,, thanks for the laugh @

That dude's from the Wicked Tuna fishing show on tv. His wheelhouse is plastered with dancing bears and all kinds of dead imagery. Great life

He lost a lot of pounds

My yellow fish sticker is in the cabin on the port side!

Sorry but shit always reminds me of Frank.

The Yellow Shark is an album of orchestral music by American musician Frank Zappa. Released in November 1993, it was the last Zappa album to appear in his lifetime, almost exactly a month before he died of the cancer from which he had suffered for several years.

Oh what a night!!

Been way too long for many reasons

Long live live music

I went to a backyard going away party for a neighbor last night with a solo singer/guitar player and a duo of singer/guitarists (who included banjo for a short time, boo) - all songs written by the musicians, who are all neighbors. They were remarkably good and it was fun to be with live music.

I already miss the Saturday night Quarantine concerts. So great you got to go last night, Tim.

Sounds cool Judit.
