A Quintessential Other One

Forums:

I needed to clear my brain of these other posts, so I just looked around and found this audio cut YouTube-released by GD today:

Grateful Dead perform “The Other One” live from Fillmore West, San Francisco, CA 7/2/71.

It's a decent 15 minute one.

Listen to it here https://Rhino.lnk.to/TOOLiveID.

Too bad they didn't include Cryptical which is on the bootleg tapes. - A definite killer /classic Other One.- They are releasing a remastered version of Skull & Roses which will include ten tracks from 7-2-71.

I'm always up for anotherotherone.

Thanks!

They also ended up not including Phil's spoken introduction/dedication to the jailed-at-the-time Owsley Stanley.

We had cassette copies of the FM broadcast of this gig way way way back in the day - it's a great one.  Smoking Not Fade Away reprise too.

9/28/72 isn't too shabby either: He's Gone > TOO (24:43) > Bobby McGee > TOO > Wharf Rat is one of my favorite hours of GD music. The Other One goes into hyperspace. https://relisten.net/grateful-dead/1972/09/28

Is there a longer 80's one than this>>>

As soon as I saw '83, I thought of the fine 2 night stand at the late, great New Haven Coliseum from Spring Tour,  18 + minutes.

Not even close, and I'm thankful the swag isn't very attractive this time around.

I'm still trying to find 16 free minutes to really listen to this TOO. Maybe today.

This 10% discount code still works on dead.net...
