This was a show I sat way up in the rafters with friends... until I saw that Jerry was playing Wolf.
I then ran down and fit myself in front of the mixer. A very unusual move for me, but it was Wolf, common'.
It was a thrill to see Jerry playing that guitar again, and at least in my ear he sounded better than usual. Ornette was also excellent with the group, and overall I thought it was a very good late-era show.

The run that included the first Eternity, Liberty, Lazy River Road. Also the debut of Broken Arrow during this final Mardi Gras night. A pretty special moment for Mr. Phil Lesh. Damn he's good.
And yes, this is a very well played show. Not sure why Ornette wasn't out there the entire second set as the show took on another dimension post drums. Perhaps somewhat of an odd song selection given Ornette's involvement but that's just nitpicking.

Ornette was leading the band was how it looked and sounded to me. I don't think I recall anybody else sitting in with the GD that far out in front.

Watched a lot but not all and that is a good show from late era GD. I fully enjoyed it. Band seems to be playing strong and Jerry seems coherent. Looks like it didn't suck to be there. And the halftime festivities look fun. 3 weeks before my daughter was born.

Lance, thanks for posting. Was there, in the front row for all three nights.
It was amazing to see Ornette with them, and to have the Wolf back in action.

Finally heard the Lovelight & Brokedown after all these years (poorly timed cassette flip, I guess).
Check out BOBBY's playing during Jerry's Brokedown solo. Sublime. I backed that up and listened to it twice.
Also, that JBGoode is one for the ages. Jerry en fuego.
