Any fans?

Heck YES, fans here. There are some great live tapes of Natural Information Society out there.

Would love to hear more from them with legends like Hamid Drake, any studio sessions recommended ??

Feat. Jamie Branch! enlightened

Joshua Abrams on bass...

Inspired by the life and music of Sun Ra during a 2 year-long archival project that found Todd Carter sifting through the Sun Ra / el Saturn archives, including rehearsals and answering machine tapes, each member of TV Pow composed a piece for the ensemble of Chicago-based musicians, plucked from Chicago's infamous "incestuous" jazz-improv-rock music scene....who are we kidding, they're our friends.

A couple guys over at Vivaphook turned me on to some new tunes during the pandemic.

Ordered a couple albums. Also subscribed to Astral Spirits. Good stuff.

I'd picked up Good Days from the Chicago Underground (recommended album!), but it has been awhile since I checked out Astral Spirits... their recent catalog is incredible!

RIP Monofonus Press, long live Astral Spirits.

I did get Good Days. Been listening to Luke Stewart as well.

Added this to my digital library. Also pre-ordered Ryley Walker with Kikagaku Moyo and Chris Forsyth Rare Dreams.

I've been treating myself to all these artists you've been recommending. Also ordered some Tashi Dorji and 75 Dollar Bill albums.
