Just a few days ago I was
Just a few days ago I was apparently flagged on google for searching the genocide currently happening in china.. I was asked verify that I was real with a captcha question , 'click which pics have traffic light'...after what it claimed were "unusual searches"..I was like 'what the hell.
anyway rather than do that I switched my browser search to Bing, and I was able to continue to browse/read many of the various articles that were buried by google...even before getting shut down I found it increasingly more challenging to find any older news articles about the origin of covid being in china for e.g. just dozens of articles claiming misinformation of fact checking sites claiming the same thing..articles that I previously read were no longer there.
So one of the things I've been noticing is how many of the dem lockdowns were very 'nazi like', so, I searched 'democrats are nazis'...
First article that popped up on Bing was '100 facts proving democrats are nazis' from 2017..so I clicked. A bunch of stuff about how historically the republicans were anti slavery etc
..but today when I did the same search- 'democrats are nazis', the same article popped up first, but this time when I clicked it said the site was down. So then I tried clicking on many of the other articles listed on Bing, at least a dozen, and they were all down. All of them still listed but you can't click on to open.
So I switched my browser to Yahoo and all of the articles pop up (unlike google) but still most cant be opened for view.
Like a digital version of burning books
I mean. .if I search 'republicans are nazis' there's no problems.
So what's up with that?

Personally I believe twitter and facebook should be off limits if you hold public office because it's a private platform that can censor legally. Maybe there should be a platform/twitter etc that is government controlled, unbiased, for government employees to use.
I'm not on either twitter or facebook but I do , however, need a search engine to surf the web. Where you have to be a member of facebookor twitter, you don't need to sign up to search with google, bing etc. But that's all we have to choose from and if google has an anti republican bias then that's fucked up. Because we have no choice but to use one of the few privately owned search engines to choose from.
