And if you were REALLY awake, you may have noticed I mentioned how the deductible period played a part in when I got my health issue taken care of. An indictment, almost, of how the medical and insurance system works in America. One of your favorite topics to rag about. I unknowingly had two 90% blockages in my heart arteries, but waited 3 weeks to get it checked out due to medical cost considerations. Could've been a stupid, fatal mistake on my part. I feel VERY fortunate I have insurance and this won't bankrupt me, as my maximum out-of-pocket will be $7.000. I'm lucky, and hope ALL Americans get insurance soon. I'll be happy to chip in.
